About
Dr Leslie Leong
Dr Leslie Leong is an experienced general dentist who has been practicing in Darwin since 2018. After finishing his dental training at Griffith University in Queensland, he has dedicated himself to pursuing extensive further education. This includes a Graduate Diploma in Dentofacial Orthopaedics from UJI-Spain in 2021. Dr Leong has also studied under Dr Kenneth Lee in Sydney and incorporates approaches popularized by British orthodontist Dr John Mew into his practice. Dr. Leslie is a dedicated volunteer with the Timor Leste Dental Program, generously giving his time and expertise to the cause each year. In 2023, he was appointed as Team Leader for the first team of the year, and will continue to lead teams in the future. Dr. Leslie has a personal history of childhood asthma and allergies to dust mites, pollens, grasses, which led to difficulty in nasal breathing, constant congestion, disturbed sleep, and tooth crowding. He has personally experimented with a vast array of tools and techniques to help his body be its best. This has ignited passion in him to help others feel and be their best.
